Lead Time for Custom Non-Standard Electric Transfer Carts
Number of visits:2 seconds Update time:2026-04-13
The total lead time for a custom non-standard
electric transfer cart typically ranges from 20 to 60 working days, covering five main stages. The actual production period varies based on load capacity, functional requirements, core configurations, and other custom specifications.
Stage 1: Requirement & Design Confirmation
We will work closely with you to finalize key details, including load capacity, platform size, power supply method, and special functions such as lifting, lateral movement, synchronous operation, automation, or rotation. We will also assess your on-site transport conditions, including ground conditions, uneven surfaces, metal shavings, and exposure to rain or moisture.
Once all details are confirmed, we will provide technical drawings, formal quotation, and proceed with order confirmation.
This stage takes 3–7 days.
Stage 2: Material Sourcing & Production Preparation
After we receive your advance deposit, we will start procuring custom components and establish a detailed production schedule.
Lead times may be longer for heavy-duty and special-function parts, generally 5–10 days.
Stage 3: Manufacturing & Assembly
Once all components are in stock, our production team will complete frame welding, structural assembly, electrical installation, and wiring adjustment according to the production plan. This process normally takes about 10 working days.
Although some highly customized units may require extra fine-tuning, 10 days is generally sufficient.
Stage 4: Pre-Shipment Inspection & Testing
After full assembly, the cart will undergo no-load and full-load testing. We will verify safety performance, positioning accuracy, emergency braking, and overall compliance with quality standards.
This stage takes approximately 2–5 days.
Stage 5: Packaging & Shipment
The equipment will be packed in compliance with international maritime shipping standards. Packaging takes about 1–2 days, while total transit time depends on your destination port.
No on-site installation or commissioning is needed. The transfer cart is ready for immediate operation upon arrival at your facility.
