Heavy-Duty Transfer Cart: The Amazing Equipment for Transporting Pressure Vessels

In a core equipment deployment project at a workshop in Kunming, a heavy-duty transfer cart is diligently working to transport pressure vessels for the factory.

This transportation project was undertaken to solve a practical problem for the Kunming factory. The client had been struggling with the transportation of pressure vessels for a year, unable to find a suitable transportation solution. It was by chance that the client saw our equipment at a partner factory and decided to try it. The material to be transported was a pressure vessel weighing 8 tons and with a diameter of 1.8 meters. The transportation channel was only 3.2 meters wide and the doorway was 2.8 meters high, with walls that were easily scratched on both sides. Traditional forklifts were unable to move the container due to their large turning radius and unsuitable dimensions.

Through continuous communication with the engineers, PEISA designed a customized solution for the client, including precise dimensions and height to perfectly match the working conditions: the cart body is 2.2 meters wide and 550mm high, perfectly fitting the channel dimensions; the differential steering design allows for a smaller turning radius, enabling easy movement around 90-degree corners; and the wide polyurethane tires increase the contact area, preventing the cart from sinking into the concrete floor.

Using wireless remote control, the operator smoothly moved the tank into the warehouse in just 12 minutes, improving efficiency by three times compared to the original plan, with no scratches or shaking throughout the process. This heavy-duty transfer cart, with its "extreme space adaptability + heavy-duty stability" characteristics, has become a benchmark solution for heavy-duty transportation in precision environments.
